Dokis is a private gratitude journal designed for personal, local reflection. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how it is stored, and the choices you have when using the app.
Dokis is built to support daily gratitude entries, reminders, history viewing, statistics, and optional photo attachments. We focus on a lightweight, private experience and do not operate a public social feed or community sharing feature.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to help protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These measures may include access controls, secure storage practices, encrypted transport where supported, and restricted internal access on a need-to-know basis.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to reduce risk through careful design and operational controls.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
In Dokis, you can review, edit, and delete your gratitude entries and related records through the app. If you want to request assistance with your data or ask about your privacy rights, contact us at the email below.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or operational improvements. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
If we make material changes, we will provide notice in the app or through another appropriate method before the changes take effect, where required by law.
Dokis does not use facial recognition, biometric analysis, face matching, or face template generation. We do not create biometric profiles or infer identity from facial data.
If a user chooses to add an image to a gratitude entry, that image is used only as an optional memory attachment. Any image processing is limited to the immediate app function and is not used to identify a person. Where temporary processing occurs, the data is deleted after processing is complete.
We use information only to provide and improve the app’s core functions, such as saving gratitude entries, displaying history, showing statistics, enabling reminders, and supporting optional photo attachments.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, selling, or targeting. We do not use your data for AI training, model optimization, or any unrelated commercial purpose.
Dokis is intended for users who are 17 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17.
If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 17, we will take appropriate steps to delete it as soon as reasonably possible.
Because we may use infrastructure, hosting, or support systems located in different regions, your information may be processed in countries or territories other than where you live.
When such transfers occur, we take steps intended to help protect the information in accordance with this policy and applicable law.
Information you provide directly: gratitude entries, categories, optional memory photos, reminder preferences, feedback messages, support requests, and any content you choose to submit within the app.
Information collected automatically: device and app event data such as crash logs, diagnostics, approximate usage information, app version, operating system details, and basic performance data needed to keep the app working.
Cookies and similar technologies: if any web-based pages or embedded services are used, small local technologies may be used for essential functions, such as maintaining basic state or remembering preferences. Dokis does not use cookies for advertising or cross-site profiling.
Any AI-related processing, if used at all, is performed exclusively on our own internal servers. We do not use any third-party AI services to process user data.
Temporary processing data is deleted after completion. User content is not used for model training, model improvement, or building external AI datasets.
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade user data. We do NOT share any user-uploaded or user-generated content with any third party.
We may use a limited number of third-party service providers only for cloud storage, server hosting, or basic infrastructure operations. These providers act solely on our behalf and under our instructions, are bound by contractual obligations to protect data security, and are not permitted to use user data for any purpose beyond what we instruct.
Third parties do NOT use data for advertising, user profiling, AI training, model optimization, their own purposes, redistribution, or independent access to user content.
We keep information only for as long as needed to provide the app and meet legal or operational requirements.
If you delete an item in the app, we will remove it from active use according to our system design and applicable retention limits.
By downloading, accessing, or using Dokis, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and agree to the collection, use, and handling of information as described here.
